Hello everyone! There’s not much to blog about since we came from the airport, but we made it to Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa! These past couple of days we’ve just gotten to know our hosts and learn more about where we are and we will start our ministry on Monday! We don’t have to cook on weekdays in this country because we have someone who cooks for us! We are staying in a log cabin that was built by teams in the past. It has three floors and the boys stay on the first floor in a room next to the kitchen that is pretty nice. The second floor is the hangout floor with some chairs and beanbags and stuff, and then the girls stay in the rooms up on the third floor. We also stay on a campus with a church and school. There is a track painted on the ground around a rugby/soccer field. We are a 10 minute walk from a mall nearby that has some coffee shops and a grocery store. There’s also a McDonald’s over there as well, even though that doesn’t appeal to me as much as others haha. We live near a beach, so we got to go to the beach and some of us enjoyed a nice Bible Trivia game out there as well! I am currently sitting at a restaurant with a plate of mussels in front of me, so I’m probably going to start eating them now haha. Like I said before, it’s only been a couple days since the last blog so there isn’t much new going on. But stay tuned for more in the future!

  1. Sounds like a more established work. I hear you had an extra excursion — opportunities come in various forms. Ever hear of the song with “I walk in hand with the Man who calmed the sea” . . . Keep focused. Love & hugs, N40

  2. That food looks very tasty! And I’m guessing that track and field will get some use. Thx for showing us the bunk room; can’t help being curious about where you lay your head at night. Enjoy blessing and being blessed!
